Attractions in Ocean City

There are loads of attractions all around Ocean City. The boardwalk is home to many of these, including Trimper’s Rides and Amusements. Trimper’s has more than 100 rides, including a famous 1902 Herschel-Spellman antique carousel featuring hand-carved wooden animals. This summer, Trimper’s Rides will introduce 10 new rides to the boardwalk, including the Super Shot Drop Tower and restored classics like the Tilt a Whirl and Round Up. To keep the guests and employees safe, management has installed extra hand washing and sanitizing stations. The Trimper’s team will also have gloves and masks available for park guests and sanitize rides after every use.

The pier at the boardwalk is home to one part of Ocean City’s largest amusement park, Jolly Roger at the Pier. Get a bird’s-eye view from the area’s tallest Ferris wheel, and try out some of Ocean City’s exciting amusement rides like the Slingshot, which shoots you into the air like a cannonball. Jolly Rogers’ 30th Street location is home to Splash Mountain, the largest waterpark in Ocean City, as well as Speedworld, with their newest go kart track, the FUTURE8. If you’re feeling brave, ride the Cyclone, the world’s first cart coaster! Made up of 40 go-carts with twice the horsepower, the ride is over 1,500 feet long, five stories tall and has 78 pilings.

Enjoy some laughs at Flashback Old Time Photos, which has two locations on the boardwalk. Nothing can be as entertaining as watching your family members dress up as saloon girls, pirates, gangsters and cowboys and then having the photos to prove it.

Go-karting is one activity that unites both kids and adults. Kids love getting behind the wheel of something motorized, and the challenge of a race is felt by the young and old. Baja also features an 18-hole mini golf course, bumper boats, two climbing walls and kiddie rides the whole family can enjoy.

Grand Prix Amusements also boasts eight go-kart tracks, including the favorite Grand Prix Track, featuring half a mile of banked curves and racing action. Reach ultimate speeds on the Sprint Go-Karts. The seven acres of the amusement park are filled with loads of other attractions, including land and water rides, bumper boats, batting cages and more.
