A trip to Ocean City is sure to be filled with endless family fun. With so many things to do in Ocean City, from the beach to the bay, you may be wondering where to start. Throughout the week, especially during the summer season, you’ll find an array of activities to enjoy with the whole family. Take part in some friendly competition on the beach during Ocean City’s Family Beach Olympics.
About Family Beach Olympics
The Ocean City Department of Recreation began the Family Beach Olympics in 2009 in an effort to bring the community, both locals and visitors, together.
Enjoy two hours of family competition, live music and other activities for all ages at Family Beach Olympics. Activities include a sand sculpture contest, relay races, tug of war and more. The best part is, all of the activities are free. Head to the beach from 27th Street and you’ll see the huge set up, including live music.
The Family Beach Olympics are a great way to not just have some fun with your own families, but other families as well.
Family Beach Olympics 2019 Dates
You’ll have eight opportunities to compete in this family-friendly event. Family Beach Olympics are from 6:30–8:30 p.m., Tuesday’s from June 25–Aug. 13.
June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, Aug. 6, Aug 13.
