Attend a Fall Festival
From September through November, fall festivals will pop up all around Ocean City. These festivals can involve your favorite fall activities, including pumpkin picking, trick-or-treating, sipping cider and more. Or, get a taste of Ocean City’s local wine, beer and food at one of these festivals.

Take Your Pets to the Beach
While the weather outside may not be best relax in the surf and sand, this time of year is perfect for bringing your pets to the beach. From Oct. 1 through April 30, dogs are able to enjoy the Ocean City Boardwalk and the city’s public beach. They’ll love getting to run along Ocean City’s miles of coastline.

Pick Your Own Pumpkin
When you visit Ocean City, visit one of the local farmers markets. Throughout the year, you can browse and pick your own locally grown fruits and vegetables to take home or back to your hotel. During fall, pick out a pumpkin for carving to baking into a delicious pumpkin pie.
Have Frightening Fun
Whether you prefer tricks or treats, the Halloween season offers plenty to do in Ocean City. Take part in family-friendly frights or a more chilling experience. Maneuver your way through the Halloween Beach Maze, avoiding the monsters and spooky scarecrows that await within. Or, dress your pet up for the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
Explore the Great Outdoors
Ocean City has several scenic locales that are great for outdoor exploration. Kayak at Assateague State Park, spot local wildlife at Assateague Island or bike down the boardwalk. Ocean City offers fun in the great outdoors year-round.

Ocean City has a burgeoning craft beer scene. Visit these local breweries, many of them pet friendly and family friendly, to get a taste of local beer. This time of year, the breweries are releasing seasonal beers for fall. Try pumpkin-flavored beers, cozy stouts and even brews with a spooky name. Tee Off this Fall
Fall is the perfect weather for hitting the links of a local golf course. Ocean City has several championship-level courses for you to enjoy. Looking for a great place to golf?
