Located near the Ocean City Inlet, at the southern end of the Ocean City Boardwalk is the OC Fishing Pier. The pier is right across from the Oceanic Fishing Pier. Cast your line right into the Atlantic Ocean from the OC Fishing Pier.

Conveniently located near the Inlet parking lot, the biggest draw to the OC Fishing Pier is that a saltwater license is not required to fish from the pier.

Fishing on the OC Fishing Pier

Reel in fish right from the ocean when you fish from the OC Fishing Pier. The pier sees regular catches of striped bass, bluefish, croaker, sand perch, sea trout, kingfish, spot, cobia and more. The types of fish caught vary with the water temperature, so you could be in for a new fishing experience with each visit.

The OC Fishing Pier has poles and nets available for rent, as well as bait and tackle for sale. Find these items along with snacks, drinks, gifts and more to remember your time fishing off the OC Fishing Pier.

Crabbing on the OC Fishing Pier

Crabbing is also available from the OC Fishing Pier. Perfect for all ages, catch Maryland’s famous blue crabs, hermit crabs, spider crabs and more.

To walk along the OC Fishing Pier, it costs 50 cents. Anglers will have to pay $8 to cast a line off of the pier.

When you’re finished fishing on the OC Fishing Pier, be sure to check out the other popular attractions and activities nearby.
