From May 9-11, 2025: Surfers from Maryland through Maine, including the Great Lakes, will arrive in Ocean City for a three-day surfing event.

Presented By: Eastern Surfing Association, this is a family-friendly event that will run Friday – Sunday. All ages and genders will be competing to become the ESA Northeast Champion in their age divisions to qualify for the ESA’s national event known as The Easterns in September.
Each competitor must to check their own final district ranking for the 2024 ESA District Season to see if they fall within the total number of Slot Invitations for their District in each division. To do this please check your Final 2024 District Ranking for each division on your District’s LiveHeats website or on your ESA District website.
If a competitor did not receive a slot they may still register for the event as an alternate. Alternate slots will only be available if any of the slotted competitors pass on their invitations. Therefore we only expect to be slotting a limited number of alternates in the event. If you are interested in registering for a potential alternate slot, please register before the deadline. Please be aware that alternates registering for the event are not guaranteed a slot.
