Ocean City Lights Up during the Holiday Season

There are several ways to celebrate the holiday season in Ocean City. One of the most popular events is the annual Winterfest of Lights. This is your chance to take a walk through Northside Park and view fantastic and festive light displays.

About Winterfest of Lights

Take a festive stroll through Northside Park during the 30th Annual Winterfest of Lights. This local tradition lights up Ocean City nightly with brightly colored lights from Nov. 17 through Dec. 31.

Enjoy the one-mile walk through Northside Park and take in the dazzling light displays. Winterfest of Lights features over one million holiday lights, hundreds of animated light displays and the 50-foot-tall Christmas tree.

Grab a cup of hot chocolate and experience the magic of the season close up. The wandering path contains lots of surprises along the way. Walk through the Candy Cane Woods or find the spot to take that perfect family photo or even a selfie to post online.

The spectacular light displays will include some favorites like Santa’s Workshop, the Twelve Days of Christmas and many more.

On your journey, don’t miss the amazing, 50-foot Winterfest Christmas tree “performing” a show several times an hour. The Winterfest gift shop will be open to find that unique present. Santa will be available to visit every night through December 23 . Winterfest of Lights is a holiday must for all.

This award-winning holiday event has been named “Maryland’s Finest Holiday Tradition” by Maryland Life Magazine.
