The month of April is full of fun and exciting events in Ocean City. Whether you’re searching for family-friendly events, food and drink events, live music or free festivals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. April 3-4: Easter Kids Fun Fair
The EASTER KIDS FUN FAIR will be held at the Ocean City Roland E. Powell Convention Center for two full days on Friday, April 3rd from 10am – 4pm and Saturday, April 4th from 10am-4pm. The Fair will feature continuous activities, games, and entertainment including Beanny the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg Hunts, Jelly Bean Guesses, Juggling Shows and Juggling Lessons, Musical Chairs, Hula Hoops, Limbo Contests, Photos with the Easter Bunny, and much more! April 11: Smith & Tangier Island Birding Cruise
Join us on April 11 for a cruise from Crisfield, MD to Smith Island and Tangier Island in the Chesapeake Bay! Registration will open before March 1. We are very excited about our April 11 cruise aboard the Elizabeth Joy II to both Smith Island, MD and Tangier Island, VA. We’ll depart from Somers Cove Marina in Crisfield, MD at 8:00 am. We’ll explore Smith Island in the morning and enjoy lunch at the Drum Point Market & Eatery. After lunch, we’ll cruise to Tangier Island for some afternoon birding. April 18-19: Premier Home & Artisan Expo
The PREMIER HOME EXPO will display an exciting array of new products and services as well as the basic necessities for the home or condo. Exhibitors will showcase ideas on decorating, remodeling, accessorizing, renovating, and even building a home. Thousands of ideas for your home all under one roof! A must attend event for current and future homeowners!
In concert with the HOME EXPO, the ARTISAN EXPO will offer a wide assortment of creative and unique gifts and accessories made by artists and quality crafts people from near and far.
A few highlights of the PREMIER HOME & ARTISAN EXPO include: FREE drawings, valuable advice from the Pros, FREE parking, and of course, BARGAINS everywhere!
April 23-26: Spring Delmarva Birding Weekend
Join us for a our annual celebration of spring birding! Registration will open before March 1. The annual Spring Delmarva Birding Weekend event celebrates the amazing warblers, shorebirds, waterfowl and raptors that visit and live here on the peninsula. The Spring Delmarva Birding Weekend has combined boat trips, paddling treks, and expeditions on foot when migrating birds are arriving and passing through the peninsula for nesting season. The Delmarva region possesses an extensive variety of environments, including barrier islands, tidal wetlands, cypress swamps, upland fields and primeval forests. Late April is a great time to explore the shore to tally late-leaving winter species and newly arrived migrants. 159 species were tallied during the 2025 event! April 23-26: Springfest
Springfest celebrates spring and the upcoming summer season. It is four dynamic days of delicious food, live entertainment and unique arts and crafts. Springfest is located in the Inlet Lot at the south end of Ocean City’s famous Boardwalk. Springfest serves up a continuous variety of musical performances. Admission to the four-day event is free.
Bring your appetite so you can enjoy delicious food from famous Eastern Shore delicacies to a wide assortment of food. Food vendors will serve a variety of delicious food, as the Springfest artisans will delight your eyes with their arts and crafts creations during the Springfest celebration.
April 24-26: Ward World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition and Art Festival
The Ward World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition and Art Festival, a prestigious event celebrating the artistry of waterfowl carving, draws visitors from around the globe. The event will be held at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center on April 24-26, 2026.
April 27-May 11: Ocean City Restaurant Week
Participating Restaurant Week establishments are given the freedom to offer whatever best fits for their restaurant at this time. Several will offer Restaurant Week fixed price menu options others may offer great deals – all will offer you a variety of dining options. RW offers a chance to try new food, a new place, or a chance to dine at your favorite place – make plans to dine out and support local restaurants!

April 30-May 3: Cruisin’ Ocean City
The 36th Annual Cruisin’ Ocean City returns April 30 – May 3, 2026. As one of the East Coast’s premier automotive events, it will host over 3,000 customs, hot rods, and classic cars. While the beachside Inlet Parking Lot serves as the epicenter, car shows and activities will span throughout the town.
Special Guests: Emily and Aaron Reeves from Flying Sparks Garage will showcase their custom 1984 Peterbilt, “Optimus Grime,” from April 30 to May 2.
Live Music: On Thursday, April 30, the acclaimed Beatles tribute band, The Fab Four, performs their Help! show at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center. Expect an authentic 1960s experience featuring iconic hits and costumes.
