The month of December is full of fun and exciting events in and around Ocean City. Whether you’re searching for family-friendly events, food and drink events, live music or free festivals, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from.
Dec. 4: Pizza Party with Santa
Children are invited to join Santa for a pizza party! Besides eating pizza, activities include arts and crafts, cookie-decorating, visits with Santa, and time enjoying the spectacular Winterfest of Lights. Kids Pre-K to Grade 4. Price $10, $8 for OC residents, Special Fee: $5.00 per adult admission to Winterfest. Pre-registration required on oceancitymd.gov/rec. Space is limited.
Dec. 14-15: Comic Con
From 10am – 5pm, join us for a day of geeky fun! The con features hundreds of guests, vendors, exhibitors, cosplayers, and artists on it’s huge show floor. Ocean City Comic Con prides itself on bringing a full day of content for a very low ticket price. Panels, events, contests, screenings, and more run all day long and are all free after admission. Don’t miss the largest pop culture event on the shore.Â

Ongoing – Dec. 31: Winterfest of Lights
On select days from November to December bring the family and enjoy Ocean City’s Winterfest of Lights! Take a walk through the Winterfest of Lights and see how Ocean City, MD, sparkles! This event will take you through thousands of sparkling holiday lights and many animated light displays located along a paved path in Northside Park. And don’t worry, Santa will be still be here so you can say hello to him!
From November 21, 2024 – December 31, 2024 (Monday through Sunday – Christmas to New Year’s Eve) at the Northside Park – 200 125th Street in Ocean City from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm. Pets are welcome on Wednesday evenings!
Dec 31-Jan. 1, 2025: New Year’s Eve Celebration and Fireworks
Welcome the New Year with spectacular fireworks at midnight in two locations! Experience Ocean City’s grand fireworks show downtown on the beach near Dorchester Street, and enjoy a cozier display at Northside Park uptown. Free. Starts at 11pm.
