The legacy of the Bunting fishing family began in the late 1800s with Jackson Bunting.
He would fish by launching his boat from the sandy shores of Ocean City, through the breaking waves, to reach the fertile fishing grounds that lie off Ocean City’s coast. At the end of the day, a team of horses would pull the boat out of the surf and onto the sand.
Times have changed, but the fishing tradition runs strongly through the Bunting bloodlines to this day. Captain Victor, Jackson’s great grandson, is the proud owner of the Ocean Princess, and continues the tradition of fishing for his livelihood. His skills, and the call of the sea, will make your fishing experience a memorable one.
