About the Festival

Welcome to the 1st annual Ocean City Balloon Festival! We’ve planned so many fun things for you. Of course hot air balloons with tethered rides, fly-aways, and night glows. Wine from Eastern Shore Triple Creek Winery and craft beers. Live music. Food trucks serving wood fired pizza, oysters on the half, smoothies, pulled pork, and more. Shop the artists village of artists and crafters working in every medium. Kids games, face painting, inflatables, and more. Bring picnic blankets, folding chairs, pop-up tents to create your own gathering space.

Access

We’re easy to get to…only a mile and a half from the boardwalk and with easy access via Uber, walk from West OC Park & Ride, OC shuttles, and limited onsite parking behind Outlets Ocean City.

PLEASE READ…IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT OCEAN CITY BALLOON FESTIVAL

No tickets will be sold at the gate. Ticket capacity is limited so please prepurchase tickets well in advance. Event is rain or shine, but ALL balloon activities ARE VERY SENSITIVE TO WEATHER. Part of the excitement of attending a balloon festival is the anticipation of when wind direction and speed are right for balloonists to stand their balloons up. Check facebook.com/ocballoonfest and ocballoonfest.com for updates. The festival is designed with lots of entertainment while waiting for balloons or in case balloons can’t fly on a particular day. It’s like a family friendly arts festival, music festival, beer & wine festival with hot air balloons.
