Each year, from March through the end of November the Seaside Country Store is filled with beautiful gifts and collectibles, gourmet food, delicious cheese spreads, fresh-made fudge, tasty candy treats. Even as you pull onto the parking lot on Georgetown street and coastal highway in Fenwick Island, DE you know you are at a unique country store!
“The Big Red Barn” is a landmark at the shore. When you walk through the front door you are greeted by the smell of fresh fudge in the kettle and a room full of jellies, jams, seasonings, and sauces. Wander up to the cheese counter to sample one of our delicious and homemade cheese spreads. If you are in the mood for something sweet, you can sample homemade fudge or stock up on some novelty candy from your childhood.
If you make it through the food room without filling up your basket, wander into middle gifts and peruse the uniquely decorated isles of collectibles, beach items, garden tables, wine displays, flip-flops and sunflowers galore. Take a turn and find yourself in the middle of our bath Shoppe, stocked with soaps, fragrances, potpourri, lotions and more!
If you are in the mood for beach wear, stop in Lady’s fashions for shirts, dresses, jewelry, shoes, and accessories to make your evenings on the shore memorable! Mosey up the backstairs and find yourself in our Nautical and Antiques room. You will find lace, wall decor, home textiles, sports memorabilia, coke items, dogs and cats, mermaids and fairies, and so much more! Wind your way through displays until you find our Christmas Shoppe with seasonal items from floor to ceiling. Santa doesn’t just come in December at the beach. Keep working your way back to the Halloween and fall items, scary comes all year long!
