July 4: July 4th Concert & Fireworks
Visit two locations in Ocean City to enjoy live music and fireworks during the July 4th Concert & Fireworks. This free, family-friendly event takes place at Northside Park and on the beach at N. Division Street. The festivities begin with a concert then conclude with a spectacular firework display.

July 12–14: 31st Annual Ocean City Tuna Tournament
Anglers, register now for the Ocean City Tuna Tournament. The world’s largest tuna tournament offers something for fishermen and spectators. Enjoy live entertainment, food and drinks as you watch the weigh ins at the Ocean City Fishing Center. Last year, over $850,000 was paid out to the winners.
July 13: Maryland State Surfing Championships
The Eastern Surfing Association hosts the Maryland State Surfing Championships right here in Ocean City. Watch as some of the area’s best surfers come out for a competition. Competitors range from all ages and abilities.
July 26–28: Greek Festival
Enjoy all things Greek at the Ocean City Greek Festival. This event features authentic Greek cuisine, including baked lemon chicken, lamb shank, keftedes, dolmathes, spanakopita and more. When you aren’t eating, shop the unique jewelry, import and art vendors, or dance to the authentic Greek dance performers. This event is free and open to the public.
July 27: OC Beach Patrol Crew Competition
The Ocean City Beach Patrol helps provide a safe time on the beach for Ocean City locals and visitors. Watch as the dedicated Ocean City Beach Patrol lifeguards compete against each other in events that demonstrate their athletic skills. The Ocean City Beach Patrol Crew Competition is free for spectators to watch at N. Division Street beach.
